Farmer Categories
We offer three progressive farmer categories to suit your level of experience, land capacity, and readiness:
-
Model Farmers
These are our lead farmers, equipped with the full package—certified hemp seeds, inputs, practical training, ongoing technical support, and monitoring. Model Farmers host field demonstrations and serve as role models in their regions, showcasing best practices in sustainable hemp cultivation and compliance. -
Trial Farmers
Farmers in this category participate in small-scale pilot trials to test hemp’s viability in their local environment. Mwamic provides technical guidance, partial inputs, and training support. Successful trial farmers may graduate to model or out-grower status based on performance. -
Out-grower Farmers
These farmers are part of Mwamic’s extended value chain, growing hemp under structured agreements for supply. They benefit from access to market linkages, training, and follow-up support. Out-growers play a key role in scaling up production for commercial purposes.
